Dyno Days in Rapid City, SD

Colorado Charity Dyno Day set! Charity needed!

J/P you can still come out in that Ford product, I am sure it can make it on one tank of gas there, and one tank back.

I hope the fat kid makes it out, I know there is a pull, but... ... ... ... . later Jim.

Ford... who's driving a Ford? You couldn't kill me and make me drive one of those POS's!

My Chevrolet Caprice, Mafia Mobile get 20mpg!

Now I wonder if it'll do doughnuts... .....

Josh

OK sorry, I know I saw it but couldn't remember, I just knew it was big... ... ... . lol, but it still burns the wrong fuel. That have the skirts on it? Just wondering... ... ... ... . later Jim.

Nope no skirts! I'm debating... I have a 400small block sitting in my garage..... or find a 4BT and see if it'll fit..... Then it'll burn the right kind of fuel... . and probably get 35mpg!

Josh

PS, have you heard from Holeshot?

yea well the fat kid and Mrs. fat kid will be there kinda late. i found out today down at the dinner that i have to run the grader blade for a while at the track. so yea what else is new guys?

OK here is the latest on the nights events. The Grad Party is from 1 to 4, so when that is out of the way the party is on. As far as the bus race goes, well they are racing the buses twice, one race is right away at 6pm and then again after the heat races are done, which should be at 8:30 or 9pm. Guess then it is your choice if you wanna stay and watch the final cars go roundy round or head back and help me finish up the beer. The track again is not that far from the house, 2 miles, so it is not like a long drive. Sounds as if the weather is going to close to 80 degrees, so should be a great night. As long as we don't have an early hatch of our finest blood sucking insects all should be good. later Jim.

I just wanted to say thank you too all that came out for Saturdays events. I was really surpired to see and glad to meet Matt, you drove a long ways for some good ole bus racing, and I am looknig forward to meeting you again.

As for the bus racing, well we rock, there was nothing on that track going to catch that bus, no matter how they tried to smash him, we won both 10 lap races, so our school recieves 200 bucks from the track, WAY TOO GO!!! Was funny watching the bus lap the field in such a short race, as Brian Myer put it, "52 mph in 5th gear was all it took". Next year will be even better I believe, since they plan on doing it again.

Party wise, well, I believe we had some good times, and some good stories were told. I know the 16 is gone, and the amount of people around made Josh's day, he was a proud young man.

So a special thanks out to all that showed up, so J. P. whats next?

Next... . Next is posting some pictures of the weekends events! After that I need to make a phone call or 2 and find out a few things.

You might be a red neck if you mod out a bus for dirt track racing! :-laf wish i was there guys. i would have tried to beat matt's black marks! but it would only be one in my case, damn open rear ends. Next year that bus will haul *****! they are doing a bus racing at Alco this saturday night wonder if anyone will see that?

Jim: I really want to thank you and your family for your hospitality. I've met some great folks over the years, but you guys take the cake. I had an absolute blast that weekend and I owe it all to everyone that made it happen. Well done! When's the next party?! Oo.

All I can do is smile when I think about the bus racing. The images of that black bus scooting on down the track are forever burned into my memory. What a hoot! :-laf

JP: You're coming to IRP. 'Nuff said. :D

Fat Kid: I think Osceola/New Richmond, WI might make it into the top 3 best damn places to drink beer.

No offense,

Matt

Well Matt, I am glad you had fun. I enjoyed meeting you and glad you felt welcomed. Hopefully we can get another party together soon, otherwise I have one set for sure Sept 9 and Saturday Sept 10th. That is the Osceola truck pull and also Hay Days weekend. The truck pull is a blast and although I am not pulling there this year, nor am I going to announce it. So I am free to entertain, and mingle, so free yourself up Matt for that weekend. For you snowmobile hounds that weekend I do go to Hay Days then back to Osceola to party some more at the small fair. I do have a blast at Hay Days, although last year I did not make it, I was spinning rollers at Gorends, so I really need to make it this year.

I need a sign that says

Red-Necks-R-Us

Then that way J/P feels right at home, I could get a softball game going at the local field if intrested, it is only 3 miles from the house, or we could make or own... ... ... ... ... ... lol. J/P, can you catch... ... ... ... ... ... ... . lol.
