Well, for those of us who couldn't make it up to Northwood for the gathering up there, We can have Beer, wings, and trucks here in the Cities.

Another 19th of the month. March 19th at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Champlin MN. (where we were last year) 10am is when I'll arrive, and we can hang out till everyone decides to go home. This year Duluth Diesel and I actually spoke with a manager, and they will be ready for us.

This will be mostly a BS'ing session, and a bit of a brainstorming session. I would like you guys, our members, to come up with some ideas for this summer. Do you like the Drag Racing? Let me know, like a particular track? Let me know. Want more wrench days? Let me know. I am toying around with the idea of putting together a sled pull, would you guys be interested? This is YOUR club, I just do what I think you will enjoy. So, Come one, Come all! Bring your Ford and Chevy Buddies, I think you will all agree, We are a Diesel group, not just Dodges!

Hey Josh,

Sounds like another well thought out event. Hopefully we can make it over there.

The last gathering you had in Elk River was a good time (Tim's place). I liked the set-up and the dyno. I think more of those type gatherings would be worth while.

I'm not sure, but I think Tim is out of that shop now. If we could have it at another shop, we should. I also thought the idea of having some upgrades there for people was a nice effort. A small variety of performance stuff for people to get during the gathering and get help putting them on if they need it. I think I have a couple of vendors that would lend me some things for a gathering.

sounds like a cool deal! Might have to hook up with ya'll. I wanted to due the ND thing, but that was just to darn far to drive! Oh... and the ol' girl is not stock anymore! :D

Sounds good is this open to any TDR member's in Minnesota? If it is I will try and make it to meet other members. All your suggestions sound good.

Randy, This is open to anyone with a Diesel Truck! We are trying to expand this club, make it one of the biggist in MN. Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Mack, Peterbuilt, Frightliner, I don't think any of us care. As long as it burns DIESEL it's pretty cool with this group. Heck in December we had a VW Beatle on the dyno!

Then again..... If any of you guys don't like that idea..... Let me know!

I wouldn't mind checking out Tim's place sometime, as I didn't get to the last meet at his shop. I'm looking at future employment up that way, so I may be more local come summer time. We'll see!! Maybe I could get some work done there also if i'm around there more.

I would be more into drag racing and pulling, but am limited right now in the aspiration department. I love this stock turbo though, it hasn't let me down, and performs great. I think i'm going to daily drive our family car that we bought new back in the day. After driving that for a day, then hopping into my truck tonight after it's been sitting since last night, my truck feels crazy fast. Probably because I drive the car nice, but boy the truck was a blast. Just feels so efficient; well it is in one aspect, yet it isn't! :-laf

It's also going on spring and summer time. That's my time to spend money on my tractors and my autos, probably finish up the MM ZAU this summer and maybe get the Chevelle going good again. Hope to get the Chrysler's front seat reupholestered and back in so I don't have to be driving around sitting on a pail any longer. Also there's a 1956 diesel tractor fairly local that i've been wanting to purchase for a year, and I wouldn't mind seeing if it's for sale. So I think I will wait awhile with a turbo. The only things that I want to do to my truck yet (mechanically) is put a hybrid turbo on, put a water-meth injection setup on, and try to squeeze some more fuel out of the pump. So I'm looking at around or under $2000, which is bareable. All of this is the reason why I wish I was done with college and out making a living, or else trying to earn a living. :-laf I've got to choose between currently and temporarily living free at home with a low-pay, part-time job with my only financial committments being my truck payment plus whatever else I think I need, or else living in a more heavily populated area with a better-paying job (hopefully) and grown adult-type committments.

Sorry for the rambling! Just letting everyone know what's going on in my life right now. :)

Sounds like fun, but March is a bad month for me. 2 kids have b-days and anniversery with the wife-3 weekends shot. And to top it off I'm slighlty grounded after Northwood, weekend was a little to expensive, damn toys that one has to buy all the time. :-laf Truck is much more fun, but that cliff is looking a little to slippery now. Post some notes of the brainstorming for me. Thanks all.

Say Josh you are going to have to call me sometimes when you do these events, I always am not on the boards here. Sounds like fun again, I am looking forward to another round of talking trucks.

No problem Spicy. Send me your E-mail and I'll FWD it to JohnE... . that way you are on "The List. " That goes for anyone and everyone! When we have gatherings, or anything involving the trucks or the club JohnE Sends out a newsletter. He has Gratiously become our Club Secretary.

Thanks John!

Josh

No prob J. P. The e-mail is how I found out, thanks to John, I found my way here. Fat Kid called me, he is happy for the help you offered him. Working on my other deal we talked about, should have some news by the time we get together... ... ... ... later dudes... ... ..... speaking of dudes, where is Aron? Have not heard from him for some time.

I think Aron is around, he' just got some projects goin right now. I know he had his hours changed for work... . so that has messed with his schedule.

I like this idea, champlin is much closer than ND. I should have an HX40 and 370's by then... whether or not they'll be installed is anyones guess. But I think I should be able to make it up there. Lookin' forward to seeing the local TDRers.

Fat kid, you stay out of them parking lots, seems like you got into a little trouble last year. (A. K. A. the old man) Will be good to see you guys again, so much coming up this year I hope. Chilly!!!!!!!!, where you at? Silver Ram?

I am going to have to get the new rubber off the truck and put back on the old stuff, last year went through 3 sets of tires, or maybe I just ought to stay out of the go pedal. "Fat Kid" call me before Friday. Later Jim.
