I want to trade my MARCO ECM computer for a stock ECM plus $200. The ECM must be a 2001. 5 auto with disk rear brakes and not a High Output.



The MAD ECM dont work with my EDGE COMP very well, Theres nothing wrong with the ECM.

Any one interested????

Well J. P. , you better have a cold one ready for me when I get there, I just bought a new welder yesterday and I am in the need for a brew. I may just have a few tonight at the shop, should tide me over.

Alpha, once we set up a date for a bomb get together there is usally a few parts up for grabs there, lost track of all that I have sold... ... ... ... . lol.

Chilly, should have some type of prices for you in a week, hope you can hold out buddy, well we can fire ring your truck any time you want, your call. The truck will run with or without twins for now, but better with the twins.

I'd take the ecm, but I don't have the right year. Spicy... I need a head gasket done, I don't think I need the firerings, but orings would be nice... I'll talk to you about it this weekend.

It has to be a 2001. 5. there is different programing for different yrs.

Got my trans apart this afternoon. Bad seal on input shaft. Got the new seal put on tonight. Everything should be good to go in it now. Hopefully I will get the ok to put it back together tomorrow, then hopefully have it in by the time the weekend is over (maybe even friday). I'm missing it!!

Funny how you should mention that Chilly. Last night at the shop, I expressed the need to toss a lot away, well I get my way, maybe it is because I am bigger than Tim... ... ... lol, sorry Tim.

Anyway, we have begun to make, (throw crap out) you a spot to do your truck. Let me tell ya, with 3 truck frames, 2 of them extended cab long box frames and one extended shorty, they take up some room. Friday the bays will be cleaned up and you will have your own personal spot to fire ring your truck, and for me to fab up a set. Tim was already making mention of your truck last night, which made me smile, since I know how long you have been asking.

Jr, lift is hanging on the truck and looks good, just have to get a few more bolts.

I have decided not to do a rush job on installing the twins before this weekend, but have decided to put them on, this month, providing time allows it. Chilly comes first... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . Plus I need to dump the clutch in my truck and get the double disc in to get the power to the ground... . :-laf

Talking to Tim last night, guess he will not be there, unless he makes a cameo, he has a dental appointment at noon, wait a min, that is a Saturday, do dentist work Sats? I am going to have to check into this.

Great to hear Spicy! We will have to see and talk about the dyno day. I may have a tenitive for this summer and we will do our annunal this fall with the boys at Hi-Tech. Spicy... . Tell that partner of yours to get back to me on IF he has gotten/can get and the Price of the part I need.



Corey... . where are you located? I may be able to lend a hand if you would want to tackle that job. Now that I'm single again, I have more time on my hands.

Josh, I'm between you and Chuck. In Sturgeon Lake, on I 35. Probably an hour and a half to 2 hours from you. I have another offer for help from Wayne (wtrenholm) too. I'll have to talk to you about it this weekend, I've had a lot of motors apart, but I'm a little nervous about setting that heavy head with o-rings. I can still drive it a bit, it leaks oil though, but I could drive it on a trailer and bring it anywhere to fix. I should have most of the tools to do it, just not the confidence yet. Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it... It's going to seem fast again, at least for a minute, when I get it back together as I haven't driven it for such a long time.

Any of ya'll have a 12v laying around... buddy of mine blew his 95 CTD 3500 up today. Think its a rod or valve through the piston... dont know yet though. Any of you good with rebuilding these bad boys in the Hastings area?

Do you have Marco's s/w version that he set for that combo?

He did some tweaking to the settings so that it is supposed to play nice with the COMP.

I don't remember, would have to search the thread to find out and with the size of that thread it would take awhile...



Did you say that you were going to use it with a COMP when you ordered?



Probably the easiest thing to do would be to contact whoever you got yours through and check with them as to what you have and if you need a reflash.

Just did a quick search on the catcher thread; looks like Marco was working on the upgrade around the first week of November. You don't have the right version of you got yours around Labor day.
