My father and I will be there so count 2 more CTDs in. Show up at 10 AM correct?

Sounds Great! The official OPEN time of Buffalo Wild Wings is 11, but I spoke with the manager, and she is going to try to be open by around 10:30. I told her we are a bunch of laid back guys and it wouldn't be a problem. I figured this year we will be able to take over the ENTIRE parking lot as we wish, if we got there early.

Last year guys checked out trucks and chatted for about 45 min before we all wandered inside.

cumminsaholic, who is chuck in stuergon lake ??? I'm up in moose lake and don't recognize the name. pm me if ya want help have shop a home also. could just arrange for a couple of people on a saturday and get it done at my place is ya want. You just have to buy lunch.

Moose Lake? Huh... we're practically neighbors. I'd gladly buy lunch and cold ones for anybody who wants to help we could work other trucks too, maybe a mini bomb day. Thanks for all the offers to help guys, I appreciate it and look forward to finally putting a face to the name this weekend, the only one I know is Chilly- we drove to Muncie together a couple years ago- and I talked to Chuck on the phone.

Also... I have a 12v motor, but the truck was in a fire, melted the intake horn so it got hot, I dunno what's wrong with it, if anything besides all the gaskets. It was going to be my "spare time" project. Also have the (Ext)cab (no doors- I need some), frame, etc from the truck if anybody needs something it's a 97.

Looks like he is going for the new Long Block, he can get a deal on one through a friend of his. $5600 I think is what he said for a complete new warrantied 12v long block. I will know tomorrow I think for sure.

The automatic isn't. At least not yet. I have had part problems galore. I finally have all the parts on hand that I need to get the truck moving. But now, I don't have the time. I've got to go to a wedding this weekend in Osceola. Hopefully I will have it all said and done on Monday. We'll see.

Well if you need a hand give me a jingle. I don't have much on my plate right now... . The only Job I have lined up at this point is the first week in april..... I'm gonna be a moving company... .

Well, you are coming and going so much that I don't even think that you know where you're at half the time. So I didn't bother you.

With the weather like it is, I don't know what's gonna happen. We may make it up there tonight. We might stay here. If my truck was running, I wouldn't even think twice about it. Gimme a call later on and perhaps we can hook up on Sunday.

Tweaker, my Haisley clutch retired itself after one years use. I decided that I won't afford the rebuild costs each year and the hassle of changing it out all the time. So I went to a Goerand Automatic. I've been trying to scavange parts (or part numbers) to complete the transformation and have had rotten luck. But, finally, I've got all the stuff I need on hand. I just have to install the last few bits and fill it up. Then I'll be good to go. I'm looking forward to being shiftless. I think it will be fun.

Hey fellas I was wondering if any of u knew how to advance the timing in the 12 valve. Ill be at champlin this weekend but could use some help tinkering with the thing. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

Aron- I'll check on the pump. I don't think it melted, but I don't know for sure. It's at my dad's place since I don't have much room here, I'll check it tomorrow before I leave.

Well I want to thank Everyone that came out. We all had a great time! There were AGAIN some new faces, which is always great. I enjoy seeing new people and spreading the knowledge! I know I had a great time, and I hope to see everyone again soon!

Josh

I'm glad I could finally make a meet. I wanted to attend the last 3 and just couldn't do it, but I'll be sure to make the next one, I had a lot of fun. Hey Andy, were you ever in FFA? My wife said you look familiar, she's from Spicer, and we were trying to figure out if it's because of you stunning good looks  or something else. ;) Now I have to get that head gasket done so I can make some noise when I leave like everyone else.

Just wanted to pass along a little note here, the beacons I mentioned for sale are sold.

Now off to better things, it was nice to see a couple more new faces, and to see some familar ones too. I really thought about another order once the waitress came out onto the parking lot and asked if she could get us a beer or something.

J. P. thanks for letting us come over and check out some footage from TIM, I was inlighted a bit. As for the "Fat Kid", man you smell dude, that was a quick way to get us to leave... ... ... ..... j/k.

I am really looking forward to a "warmer but not too hot" event day.

Oh and Mark I called pops today, he said out of the 20 inches they had they are down to 14 now and his snowblower just is not big enough, might have to get him a new one for Christmas this year.

Talk to you guys later, got a lot a work of work to do to a pals truck so he can have his baby back... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... see ya later, Jim.

Hey Kevin, hows those ball joints and hub bearings treating ya? :-laf Sorry, just had to!

Good to meet ya all again. Had a good time, and hell even let Kevin drive my truck, I think the stacks left him a little jealous! :-laf I say do it, the girl will just have to adjust, honestly, the stacks are not bad on the highway by the way... cruzing at 70, you can barely here them over the turbo whistle!

So, whens the next visit... hopefully a little warmer and a little more tech playing. I know on Pavementsucks.com we are trying to get a few TDR members as well as PS.com member together for a wrenching session just south of Des Moines Iowa. One of our members, might be a member here too, is trying to work out a time and date at his diesel shop for BS'ing, valve adjustments, and a little wrenching. Still working on a price for valve adjustments for those who want someone to do them for them. I'll let ya know.

Any word on another Dyno day? I am really curious to what I am putting down to the ground now since last Dyno.

-Matt

PS: for any of you that do any offroading, maybe not in the CTD but have somthing for trail riding, we are planning a PS.com get together in Wisconsin at McCaslin Mt on May 30, 2005, a Monday and Memorial Day weekend. let me know if you want to join up, its about a 6 hour drive from the Twin Cities area, but it is a BLAST, went up there 4 times last summer. The guys I go with will definately show you a good time, the trails are challenging and some awesome relaxing views! :D
