Competition VT-50..Good pulling charger???

Competition just raced an 04 subaru wrx

We got a group from md coming sometime this summer. I hope I can get there. I have never been but am dying to go. I do alot of rock crawling on the east coast, ie slick muddy rocks so the samd stone should be a breeze. Seems all the pics I see of ppl wheeling there are running AT's. Must be tons of traction.

I dropped my fifth wheel at Moab rim campground and hit Hells revenge and Fins and Things:-laf

She's a Bone stock Longbed except for the H2 tires and wheels

Don't you love the looks you get when you take a full size truck in line with a bunch of modded jeeps? :-laf :-laf I did a relatively easy trail (3D) and they were taking pictures of my big truck easing through areas that some of the stock jeeps had minor troubles. :-laf

Great pics!

Ken

yeah it was pretty cool we were on the trail at the same time as all the big wig chrysler exec's they got a pretty good kick out of it.

last year I took my stock 4-door longbed Superduty over that trail as well

only got to spend one day on the trails due to a family emergency, but got to run Moab Rim, Cliffhanger and Hell's Revenge

You did better than me, we headed out on the 29th, got about 80 miles from the house and stopped for breakfast. Five minutes later I did a face plant on the table and was hauled off by ambulance to the ER. Good news is I wasn't driving down the highway pulling my Jeep and kiss a Kenworth head on. Bad news is I miss EJS for the first time in 19 years. :{ Seems like my doc changed my BP meds and that coupled with being sick all week did some Gawd awful thing to my BP. Up and running now and planning a trip pretty quick. :D

Boomer II glad to see you still with us. Makes you glad someone is watching out for you. :)

Don't worry, the rocks are still here. :D

Ken

You got that right Ken, this is the first time we've ever stopped there, usually go about 45 minutes farther down the road. I guess our prayer for traveling grace payed off. Looks like we might try for July 4th week, wouldn't want to catch a chill or anything.

I'm heading out there on the 29th. I have my big 5th, a utility trailer to tote a Yamaha Rhino to the different trails. hopefully I can get in the spot next to fin-n-things entrance. (E loop). want to do hells revenge and poison spider mesa and others. . be there from the 29th to the 5th.

Hey Eric, it's car show this weekend but that won't have any affect on what you are doing. The city park will be filled tomorrow for show. It's kinda funny to drag main in the evening sometimes along with all the old hot rods. One year I had people trying to get me to spin the tires but I didn't as it wouldn't be easy with a manual and the power level I'm at plus I can't afford to burn my rubber off for nothing nor can I afford drive train abuse. I might have to look you up and say Hi. I will probably be taking off on Wed. for more RV transporting. :(
