Anyone remember the thread on the mod to the fuel sender on second gen trucks. Someone had a fix for the never ending problem with this part.

Thanks Bill for the quick reply. Exactly what I needed. Do you also remember the mod someone had for the fuel fittings on top of the tank. I believe they were AN aircraft fittings, with special machined parts to install them.

I bought a new unit as back up or to fix the one in the tank at a later time. Good thing I did - when I pulled the bad unit the float was gone! So in went the new one. Any body got a spare float? Good to be prepaired.
