'Nother SMARTY Question

finally the cp3's are out

Scott here at Floor It Diesel, here is the latest modded CP-3 information.

These can be purchased from:

Floor It Diesel

Industrial Injection

NADP

NGM Diesel

The Stage I pump flows 12. 5% more fuel than a stock pump (this is the pump that Barry at NADP along with a few others have been running. )

The Stage II pump flows 27% more fuel than a stock pump.

For the best customer service please contact the dealer that is closet to you.

This is for the exchange program as well as the personal pump program.

If you have a newer pump on your truck and want to have your pump modded the process will be:

You send your pump with your name attached to Industrial Injection. The pump will be checked out to verify it is good. Then the pump will come here to Floor It Diesel and be modded, the modded pump will then be shipped to the customer.

There will be NO warranty on pumps sent in by the customer.

The exchange program will be:

Start out with a Bosch Remaned CP-3

Stage I (this pump will include a 12 month/12000 mile warranty) and stage II.

There will be a core charge with the exchange program, the amount of this core charge has not been determined yet.

along with the cp3 mods there are other recommendations to get to full power and reliability potetial out of this pump. they include--modded fass 150 @ 40 psi. rail cap (optional) and injectors, we reccomend don m's or industrial injection's injectors. currently don's are available at floor it and industrials are available through NADP, NGM diesel, and industrial injection (ask or call for details). lets not forget the air part, your turbo also needs to be upgraded if not already done. sps62 or equivalent, minimum for stage one and up. if these upgrades have already been purchased then you are good to go. have fun and be safe. thanks :-laf :-laf

Nice update guys. Much appreciated.

How much longer are we looking at on the functional relief valve mod (34,000psi pop pressure)?

we reccomend don m's or industrial injection's injectors

So, are these injectors modded to the point they will eliminate cracking potential at the higher pressures. IOW- are the nozzles made of a stronger material than the stock, (or rehoned), ones?

as of now the bodies are genuien bosch, the tips are much better and can with stand stage 1 and stage 2 just fine. the bodies we are currently working on something new to make. the stock bodies are starting to crack with pressure boxes and multiple stacks after some time,( this is with any bodys injectors, all on the market have the stock body currently) but this is what we are seeing on stock bodied injectors. ours we have not had 1 problem yet---and thats any of us! so i would say you will be just fine as we are seeing pressure over 40kpsi at times!!!!!!!! :--) :-laf thanks

what about Industrials? Last I checked, which was about a year ago, they were honing stock tips. So how would they be any different than anyone elses honed tips?

cp3's ready

Oo. Oo. the cp3's are now ready for order placement, that is stage 1 and stage 2!!

stage 1 will be quicker turnaround than stage 2 when sending in you own pump, stage 2 is about 1. 5-2weeks.

the stage 1 and 2 exchange are waiting to go out, normal shipping time unless otherwise specified!!!i. e. next day or overnight? thanks for your interest in this and other products. :-laf

just curious, wasn't sure if they had went to a different process or not. Cause last year they were honing stock tips and a stock tip is till a stock tip if so. I guess from the post that what they are doing is top secret like the pumps? Or are you not sure yourself. ?

I agree with Mills... . if they start with a stock tip from Bosch and the hone it or flux or whatever... . the material is still the same for the nozzle... it would require a different aftermarket tip made of some different material so that it could stand the higher pressures... . my . 02

just to clarify somethings; the tip will in stock form put out little volume @ high pressure. when you mod the tip the idea is to increase volume and lower pressure( to give room for pressure boxes and multiple stacks) to do this you need to open the holes and adjust the angle at which it will spray---also giving better power through better atomization. our pumps change the regular way of simply moding injectors, and other steps have to be takein in order to make them work reliabley and powerfully---this includes more tests for pressure handling abillity and volume output, and also timing and duration events need to be recreated to deliver the right envierement for testing. on top of that they are hand selected for best quality apperence before mods or tests start, these are just some of the reasons why we reccomend these injectors. not every combo will like one style of injector, thats why we offer 2 types---raceing and towing, they are different by how much pressur they will hold and the volume they will flow. any more questions just post or call. thanks :D

Brady offers excellent injectors, no doubt. Don's injector tip's, (FLUX) are made out of a higher tensile strength material. They have been in my truck for over a year and see pressure's well over 34,000 psi everytime it's started and run. I have seen many pressure reading's of 39,000 psi  on these tip's and so far no failers yet.

the products we use and sell are the best and highest quality on the market. quality and customer come first! this is the real deal. thanks :D

I understand that, but what ever happened to Don building them for the 600 and 610 motors? We have waited quite a while for them and I have asked numerous times about them only to be told that they were too expensive for him to build so he didn't see a market for them. So, that leaves 600 and 610 owners with II which only uses stock tips... ... .

I just talked to Don earlier and I forgot to ask him about the "600" motor injectors. I know he's always working on alot of things and I don't think he's given up on it yet. I'll try and ask him saturday.

you make the stock tips sound inferiour? in the modding process the tips are made pretty much indesructable( allmost) barry @ NADP has put his through what most will never see!!! and has yet to install a new set. its the bodies that are failure prone----not the tips, dons or II. they are both top of the line. thanks :D

rail relief valve redesign

Is the new rail relief valve going to be 100% duty cycle (reusable) or will it just allow for some amount "X" of pop-offs that are more than factory, but still eventually need replacement?
