My stage I is still running great. It started right up and idled smoothly with a little more rattle than the stock pump. This may be because it idles at 6900 psi. This pump really smoothed out the curves on the dyno and runs more consistant in the 1/4. No more dips and bumps. The stock pump will not support stock injectors with much duration. I'm still running stock injectors till after the DPM race in sept. I know I'm giving up some hp by not running the rail cap but I want to try some injectors first.

See my sig for my review of the Stage one CP3 - I noticed the smooth dyno graph as well... It used to have two big dips, dips that you could feel on the street real bad

Re-installed the stock CP3 and all is well! Fired up right away as well as no codes, no weird idle, no misses, no white smoke, and no oil leaks from the JB Welded plastic cover.

What does DC charge for labor hours for a CP3 swap? I think I have this down to about 1 hour or so if I'm well rested...

BTW some of you may remember that last year I had a high pressure fuel leak that occured after the rail pressure relief valve blew. The following picture is of the line from the CP3 to the rail showing the CP3 end. On the left is the old line and you can see what I believe the leak did to the line. Either that or it was overtightened thereby etching the sealing surface. I decided to replace this line when I did the CP3 swap last week.

JStieger you know us and you aslo know that we take good care of our customers. Your CP3 pump was one of a about 14 pumps that we had FloorIt modify. Todate every pump has came back and we have fixed and installed our own Mods. We have fixed and taken care of every customer to their satisfaction that we have sold and also some that we did not sell. We do stand up for our customers and Julius I believe knows we will do the same for him. As for testing, we test to Bosch specs and with their test equipment and it does do the job. Julius you need to call me about your truck and the problems you have been seeing. Thanks, Brady 1-800-955-0476

I just started this one last week and tried to be neutral in my frustrations and venting after I enjoyed running the pump for a week before it took a digger on me and then having to waste a very hot weekend troubleshooting the problem after having it down for 3 weeks doing my other mods. I had lots of plans for the truck this week to get data on the twins + CP3, including towing and dyno time. I tried to present all the facts, symptoms, and my thought process so that hopefully other members benefit so that they feel comfotable even diagnosing their stock truck as well as hopefully even working on it themselves.

I miss the modded CP3 already. It was pure joy when it worked and all I want is a modded pump that works and is reliable (because after I get married in August I can't spend anymore time and money BOMBing my truck :{ :-laf )

We have been doing business with Industrial for several years now and I can honestly say we have NEVER had a bad experience. Brady, Cody, Brett, and Shane are all a pleasure to deal with and are not the type of people to do someone wrong. To hear negative comments about them and their character blows my mind. Instead of reading all the BS on the net, I suggest actually giving them a call and dealing with them first hand.

Are you refering to the modded CP3 when you say "get used to it"? As in 'get used to it failing'??? What failed and ruined everything else? I just want a pump that works.

On another note I put the stock CP3 pump back on and well, let's just say, I overtorqued that cheezy plastic gear cover and broke it in two.

Time to whip out the JB weld so I can at least drive my truck this weekend and get some things towed as well as hopefully be able to go out of town to get my house furniture. Cummins doesn't have any covers in stock nation wide and I found some via Mopar ($11 part), but it will not be here until Tuesday morning.

I was going to spend a couple of hours dynoing this week because this truck ran strong and hard after this pump mod. Well, that's going to be delayed now... sorry AK Ram!

Did the same thing with mine. Just put that stupid cover on hand tight. Superglue kept it together until the replacement came.

I'm running a heavily modded CP3 (Stage 2) and no problems yet.

Get rid of her! Run while you can!!!

I don't want to... I'm in it too far already. She secretly loves my truck, "well are you going to pass this slowpoke and smoke him out?! Smoke him out! Smoke him out!" Something she can't do with her Neon. :-laf

I been kinda busy but a freind of mine told me about this thread, thanks Lucas, so I wanted to put my two cents worth in. Not here to bash anyone, I'm running a Floorit stage 2 cp3 that John did for me, no middle man involved, and it works fantastic. I did the stage 1 first and I could feel a definite improvement but it made me wonder how the stage 2 would work and John did the stage 2 and it is that much more again. I haven't been on a dyno since this mod, maybe this Saturday. This stage 2 will keep up on a sled pull with crazy larry and the TST on 8/6, yup that's what I said 8/6. I know most say that the best power with this stack is 4/2 or 5/2 but sop and smoke says 8/6. Not one tiny problem from John and his cp3 mod, it has been flawless. Thanks again to John and the crew at Floorit diesel.

same here. In fact I can name off at least 7-8 that John did in house:

I have 2 of them

Tomeygun's

AKRams

Brian Haner

Justin Williams

Reb B's

JeffK

Gwoody

I am sure there is more. So why is it that when he does it in house they are fine, but when work gets subbed out there is an issue?

I really like the Industrial Injection products and run their HRVP and SPS62 on my truck. Industrial puts out a world class product and I would recomend II products to anyone who wanted my opinion,I also know that they have issues now with Floor It. As far as John Scott and JT, they are a really good group of guys, I know this first hand as they have bailed me out of situations with my truck more than once with very little notice. I do not believe they would put out a Sub-Par product by any means, this may have been a preliminary problem with the first batch, as many products that everyone here was screaming about, not to mention Diesel Power (Wade) telling everyone they were available when they in fact were not. This put alot of pressure on the guys to kick them out, maybe a little prematurely.
