Modded CP3 issue or maybe not... hmmm??

Add "KevinO" - Stage one bought right at Johns shop - Running pretty good.



Getting Stage 2 soon I think to sledpull

I am sure there are plenty more. Those are just a few that I know of that were totally in house. We were extremely limited on time with mine and didn't have time to ship it around for the testing process. He modded them and sent them right back.



It just seems odd. Each person can do their own thing in their own shop, but when they work together it flies apart.



I wonder of the 14 bad pumps that are being counted if any of those were the bad ones that got shipped to them in the very first batch. I remember when the cp3 thread came out a couple months ago that there was a batch of 6 pumps that were shipped in to be modded and most if not all of them were trash pumps. That's why they clarified it that if you sent in a junk pump you were going to get a modded junk pump. The modding process in no way was a means of rebuilding.

I am sure there is more. So why is it that when he does it in house they are fine, but when work gets subbed out there is an issue?

My Stage2 is back at II right now getting re-bench tested. Floor-it has had my pump for a few months now. Supposedly they're were waiting on some parts. Should have it in a week maybe. Unfortunantly it's not going right on the truck. Gotta get the twins in there and a flexplate. Hoping to do around 700rwhp on #2 only when she's done. If I'm at 520hp right now, I can't see why twins and a pump can't put me close to 700hp... right?
