model year 92 or 93

Hey guys,

I have what a 92 or 93. I have a mfg date of 7/92. Usually a mfg date this late in the year is the next model year, so it would be a 93. My title however says its a 92. Would appreciate any help. Thanks Jack

The only difference I can think of, between the late model "92" and early "93" is the air filter. The 93 only fits the 93.

I'm not real sure when July 1 became new model year. I know in the late 80s August was still the same model year on some models.

Mid july was the "classic" model year changeover for the big 3.

We supply oem parts so we know it well.

So you could have either depending on actual build date.
