Moderators - LIGHTEN UP !

After reading the WTF post, I decided to see how many other post could be offending.

BCFAST posted about "PSD Idiots". seems offensive and confrontational to me. STACK'D-N_JACKED wants to know "Who is coming?". Wonder what he means by that ? HVAC talks about "blowing head gaskets". Hmmmm? And the infamous DOC wants us to "PRAY for TDR members". I'm agnostic and don't believe in prayer. Gee, I'm offended by all of the above posts, so let's have the moderators remove them!

I hope you guys see where I'm going with this, and you ought to have a sense of humor. Anyone who looks deep enough can find something to be offended by. This site should also be to have some fun, but not at someone else's expense. The blond joke was not at anyone's expense,or personal.

By the way, I am not offended by anything that's been said on this site, as it has not been personal. Like I said, I hope you can lighten up a little.

Would it have made a difference if I added this to the WTF post, or added a new post as I did ? By your response I have the perception that you don't want other individuals opinions stated. I can't speak for others, but this is what seems to be objectionable to me, the attempt of heavy handed control by some moderators. But, we each have our own opinions. . Isn't this great !

Sorry if I gave you the impression that your and other opinions are not important.



I have let the WT thread run its course because I wanted everyone to have a chance to voice their opinion.



However, if you want the rules changed thats should go directly to the TDR management.

I have a suggestion. In the future, instead of the actual offensive remark, just say, "Said the sailor to the girl," or "Said the girl to the sailor. " That way, nothing untoward will have been said, thus offending no one, and those of us with vivid imaginations will be able to figure out what was unsaid.

Hey, I have a friend thats a sailor, I don't think he likes girls... so thats offensive to me... , oops are we suppose to discuss topics about boys that don't like girls??? thats offensive... ... ,
