I installed a set of modified banjo bolts over the weekend. I also changed the fuel filter. I did not notice any increase in pressure with the bolts. As a matter of fact, the idle pressure is down from 10 to 9. At WOT on the truck I did not see or could not get lower than 3 psi before or after the filter. Based upon the research done by others on the fuel system, wouldn't it make sense to see a slightly lower pressure with less restrictive bolts? Just a thought. I don't trust the way my senders are mounted. They are attached to the fuel filter housing test ports with brass 90's. There may be some loss there. I'll know when I get the modified bolts from Ray T. I can mount the sender directly to the bolt at the injection pump and at the lift pump.
UPDATE I do have a very slight leak at the fuel filter ports. As soon as I get those modified banjos from Ray, one sender is going to the lift pump. The other sender will not need the brass 90 fitting and I will continue to monitor the fuel filter at the housing. I used the brass 90's to accomodate both senders on the filter housing.
