modified CP3

Ats has a setup to exchange a stock one for the modified one. Has anyone tried this yet?Is it worth it?Who else is modifying these?

I had mine modded by G. A. M and so far so good, I went from a all time dyno high of 591 to well into the 600hp range with more room to go. PM me and I will put you in contact with them, the only down fall would be you will need to send your cp3 to them, but they turned my cp3 in less than a day so down time would be minimal. Mike

Are you at liberty to describe the modification? I would be very interested in finding out more information. I spoke to the guys at ATS, the unit is $2300. 00, however, that also includes an auxiliary helper pump in addition to my FASS.

I cannot tell you what they did but as far as a aux helper pump I really do not think that you need it, I have the FASS 150 and with all my boxes turned up I cannot pull it down past 10psi and I am checking my fuel pressure right at the cp3, this is just my opinion. As far as price goes I know for a fact that GAM is a hell of allot cheaper than ATS, plus in my mind it really makes me feel allot better to know that the guy's at GAM build race motors for a living and know what and how to make things go fast...

When I was over at Industrial Injection in SLC a couple of days ago they said they were researching / working on a modified CP3.



Heck - the Bosch warehouse is practically down the street from them!
