What would be the effects if I were to block off the overflow valve so no fuel was returning from the injectors? I would only do this for dyno/sledpulling. Matt

Since the overflow valve regulates the fuel pressure, and we're not talking about a 855 with a PT or PTG pump, I don't think there would be any benefit. There is only so much room for fuel in the barrel and plunger assembly. The only exception would be if you were starving for fuel and running out of power. If that were the case, you would probably need a new lift pump. I think they use the same lift pump on the 8. 3L Cummins, so I wouldn't think it couldn't supply enough fuel.

Just my 2 cents.

mfunderburgh, the first thing you will notice is the fuel filter splits open. After you re-inforce the fuel filter the seals in and around the fuel filter mount will start seaping fuel. When you fix that, you will notice the P-7100 does not like the kind of fuel pressure you are applying and it will then give problems, maybe fatal problems.

You should send spec. fuel pressure to the P-7100 and let it do it's thing. IMHO

if you pull and have a solid 400cc plus pump you need other fuel mods, or she will starve for fuel on the track
