modify factory trans setting

Have jake brake installed on aut trans. Jake cuts-out at 22 mph. Need jake brake to remain engaged till I decide to shut it off. Anyone know if this is possible?

What year truck, The ECM controlls lock up and the brake. unless you can get the TC to remained locked up in 1st gear anything slower than 22 might no help anyhow. Fill out your sig with your truck profile so we can help you.

2006 3rd gen. tc lockup 4th, 3rd, 2nd. . Fluid connection in first gear. I frequently decend 16% grade for approx 12 miles pulling 20k fifth wheel. Have considered decent in 4-lo to take advantage of lower gears and tc lock up in second. Still have 22 mph lock-out issue. If I can't figure this one out; I am considdering after marke drive line or trans brake. any good advice on the above is appreciated
