Newbie's First Post

I'm new to Dodge and Cummins both. I have my truck in my shop doing a few things and trying to femillurise myself with this fine ,new to me, 12 valve "oil burner". Can someone tell me how to get the headlight lens out so I can dry the moisture and, hopefully re seal? it? Or is it like double pane, insulated windows, buy another :(

If you actually want to take out the entire headlight assembly, you're first going to need to take the bumper off. You'll need at least one other set of hands. Other than that, the rest of the fasteners holding the headlight assembly will all become visible. I tried sealing my Sport headlights with epoxy when I did the conversion, but it didn't work. Still get moisture sometimes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the lens itself comes apart from the entire assembly.

On the wifes old car I drilled a small hole in the bottom to let the lights drain. Consider it one of the joys of living in the pacific NW. You may be able to get a small drill to tap in to the cover with out removing everything.

"take the bumper off"

Geez, I'm glad it didn't come to that  That lower bolt is a bugger but a U joint and a socket got it. I sealed all around where the lens meets the rear part of the assembly. Sounds like I may wind up taking it out again and drilling some holes. :{ Least I now have a plan "B" :)
