Yo Hoot, Yes, there are many folks out there that care for loved ones, at home during their final days.
It is not a fun experience, but it is a Blessing!
Mom is now in her final resting place, next to my younger Brother.
We grieve for our loss, but REJOICE in her gain!
Knowing that we will be reunited in LORDS Presence, for Eternity!
These last 9 days were intense. Full of family, traveling and time to contemplate the future. I still have her affairs to settle and a grave marker plate to design and commission. These things will be at the top priorities list for the next 6 weeks.
My Son had his first glimpse of his roots and found out a little about his lineage. This was a very special time for my Son and I.
