Just thought I'd post up some vids of my mud truck I have put together to race this year.

Been to three races this year, the first one was in Cedar Vale, KS. I placed 3rd in that race in class 2

This video has a bunch of other trucks in it, my run is at 9:05 into the video.

Second race was in Porter, OK. I placed 4th in that race in class 2.

The third race was in Caney Valley, KS. I placed 2nd in that race in class 2.

I don't have a video yet of that race, waiting to see if anyone uploads one to youtube as my wife who has been filming it, wasn't at this race.

Truck is running great and is getting lots of attention at the races, it's the only diesel competing out of all the trucks that race at the events.

Here is a basic build of the truck, Joe that was at Pure Diesel Power built the engine for me, bottom end is balanced, pistons replaced with Mahle and have been fly cut. New Head, with intake cut off, full port and polish job, larger valves and fire rings installed. Engine studded with a crank girdle. Hamilton 188/220 with his springs, retainers, keepers and push rods. Joes custom intake manifold, an Engineered Diesel 66/74 turbo. 435 Injectors with a 215hp pump with 181 delivery valves.

This connects to a Destroked adapter plate/flexplate to a TH400 built by Art Carr at California Performance Transmissions out in Cali. The 400 has a 13" converter set to 22-2400 rpm stall with a transmission brake, billet shafts and drums.

The transfercase is a divorced ford np205 transfercase mounted hard to the frame of the truck. I have all new driveshafts with 1410 u joints except at the th400 and it's a 1350 as that's the largest you can get for it.

The front diff has a Lock-Right locker and a posi loc kit on the cad sleeve. The rear diff has a lincoln locker.

The wheels are 37" Super Swamper Boggers on factory wheels.

I can post up pics of the truck if anyone is interested.

Truck started life as a long bed exteneded cab truck, it's now 3 feet shorter with a regular cab/short bed.

Morph.
