Off Roading SNAP goes the tow strap... (video)

The truck will be at Oakboro. I'll get a vid soon - between working on trucks and keeping everything else going my time has been pretty limited.

Guys I have seen the stage 3 first hand in competiton and I'm a true beleiver in the pump , he beat some big guys in the 2. 8 class and even super street guys , this was his first outing with the stage 3 and and he was very pleased and he said there's more to come from injectors hes having made , now this guy is the maker of the pump and as we talked on HP #s he said he is going on a engine dyno and compare all pumps with a stock VP and will share the HP improvements in each stage , as we talked I asked about guarantee he said the stage 3 is a competiton pump he cant guarantee it and should b offroad use only , He's looking into a gurantee on a stage 1 and mayb stage 2

This truck is so impressive i couldnt beleive how good it ran and hes only turing 4000 rpm with a old FMS converted to a redline , still retains stock bottom end just some 20 over pistions but just a cast drop in cam , so there is hope for the VP guys

and i cant wait for some proof, still a lot of blah blah blah, WHERE IS IT?

Dont you think if it was worth the time and money schied, haisley, enterprise, columbus, would have dont it. oh yeah schied did, spend buku money on it and said it wasnt worth it.

You should have got off the couch and come to the TS event this weekend.

Darrin Smith kicked some major but on the pulling track with that pump.

THERE WAS THE PROOF!!

Remember guys these are for competition purposes...

here's an early guide to proper setups for each pump--until more data is received and verified I will not adjust it--of course final word is with your supplier---the below came from two of the suppliers---

Stage 1-- stock lines unless you get the big cam idle then upgrade lines and crossovers(verified)

Stage 1 injectors---100+hp--- confirm this with your vendor

Stage 1 electronics--REDLINE(verified)

Stage 2--. 093 lines and crossovers(verified)

Stage 2 injectors--6x18(verified), 150+hp---confirm with vendor

Stage 2 electronics--REDLINE(verified)

Stage 3--. 093 lines and crossovers(verified)

Stage 3 injectors--new 7x12 or old school 7x25(verified), 220+hp confirm with vendor

Stage 3 electronics--REDLINE(verified)

so above is what you should use concerning the pumps--I'll also update the list when someone has legit proof that an injector or box will indeed work---just saying it will work isn't good enough and I don't care who says it--it will need to be on a truck and put through some paces before it can be added or at least technical specs given that match the above---right now the vendors are the ones making the calls on what should be used--that doesn't mean others won't work, but there's not enough info out there to prove or disprove others----since the stage 2 & 3 need the bigger lines it only makes sense that injectors are sized to match the pumps/lines/crossovers also--also boxes with timing may not be a good match, but we shall see---- as time progresses more and more injectors/boxes can/will be added----chris

UPDATED INJECTORS INFO ON MAY 17TH

690 was done last weekend is the word, but I won't have concrete details until Travis gets back to me--he's supposed to look at the dyno sheets and find out about truck set up this weekend---

there's reports that a guy has been running a timing box also with no issues, but I'd defer to the vendor who you're buying from on whether to use one or not--

chris

the stage 3 pumps have been put on hold at the moment as the builder isn't satisfied with their performance---these pumps aren't easy to get in any form at the moment from most of the vendors---chris

stage 3's aren't being sold at this moment---the other stages are available, but you need to get an order placed as there's no stock--pretty much built on an order basis and the turn around hasn't been fast---you need to get on one of the vendor's lists to make sure you have a chance to get one---no new info has been attained as of yet----chris

I messed my pump up guys just so you'll know. You need bigger lines and bigger cross tubes and some really big sticks to run the Stage 3. My pump should be back in a couple days. I was told yesterday that my injectors were to small, Mach 7. 5s, and it is a must that I run bigger tubes and lines. Just a note to you guys who are planning on getting the big one.

Gus--thanks for clarifying this info---I've been told my 7x25's(old oem modified tips) are big enough and that any injector pushing 220hp should work, but now this may mean that either the Mach 7. 5's aren't as big as all thought or that 220hp isn't big enough---do you have any info on minimum injector size for us----chris

Not really. Wish somebody here had the hole size for the Mach 7's so that we could have an idea of what size they are. I don't have any way to measure but I'm working on that. I've also been doing some looking to different tip styles and washer thickness to control spray angles.
