Replaced all 6 tires on my Keystone

5th Wheel Cover

Hi guys,

Im leaving Seattle on wednesday (9/13) for a trip to Minnesota and back. I should be crossing thru Montana on Wed, Thur, and Fri. Then North Dakota on Fri, and into Minnesota on Sat. Then returning thru SD on Sept 23, Wyoming on the 24th, and Montana again on the 25th and 26th.

Can anyone look into their crystal ball and tell me what my chances of running into snow are going to be ? Ill be going I-90 from Seattle to Billings, then I-94 up thru ND and into Minnesota. On the way back, Ill be going I-90 via Sioux Falls thru SD, Wyoming, then up thru Montana again all the way back to Seattle

Thanks,

TRat

No snow yet but it won't be long

I am leaving Pennsylvania Wed. or Rapid City, SD will be there for a week or so. Hope it nice weather in the mountains also. I will be driving my MH pulling a enclose car trailer with my 33 ford inside. The women that takes care of our dogs while we are gone is in the hospital but she says she will be home tomorrow. I would be lost without her.

You should expect great driving weather in Montana, high's in the 80's and low's in the high 30's low 40's. You might watch for ice on Lookout and Homestake passes, but no real precipitation is forcast for the whole week. Have an awesome drive!

Too early here in ND and MN for snow, well any that would cause problems. Usually snow does not come until mid to late october and then usually does not stay until a good snow in November. The forcast is rain for Friday and Saturday but don't worry the forecasters around here can not tell the weather 2 hours ahead, Their lucky even if they stick their heads out the window and make a forecast.

Thanks for the reply. I dont expect to run into anything. But when I checked the 10 day extended forcast (no, I dont really believe the weather report for tomorrow, let alone 10 days out), I thought I remember seeing the possiblity of snow somewhere in Montana, maybe the Butte area. Im sure thats probably just for an overnight dusting if anything. Probably dont need to bring chains.

I'm in spokane and I just came from Billings on Saturday... nice warm weather... we are to see some colder than normal weather..... highs in the mid 50's for Thur through the weekend with a warming trend next week... .

I'm thinking of dashing to S Dakota to look at a new 5th wheel my self on Tur-Sun... I don't expect any problems at this time.....

The temp gauge in the truck read 91 at noon today in Spearfish, which is in the northern Black Hills. I would not expect any real snow until mid to late October to be honest with you. Anything we would get before then would probably light skiffs that are gone by mid-morning. Fall here is usually pretty mild and makes for a lot of nice hiking and riding weather because it is not too hot and not too cold. It will get down into the 30's 40's & 50's at night but warms up fairly quick again in the morning. To me this is the perfect time of the year to be in the hills. Hope you enjoy your trips.
