Mooretown Pull June 4, 6:00

That's the one right here by my house. Both pulls here last year were scheduled against those big events up in corn country.



Steve and I have pulled here. I won the first one and got 2nd to a Diddlemax the second time.



The MTPA is pulling us dead last, so it might be 11 or 12 before we line up. I expect the Stoners and maybe Bean will get his truck together. And now I'm excited with a new charger. The SuzuMax is rumored to be coming back.



OH and you know the funny---remember that ford that got stuck at Ivy Bluff and yall about had a fight to pull him out. That's who I beat there last year when I won.



Okay, I'm road weary. Little over 600 miles today. :--)

The G/F, Crazy Cousin Dilbert, possibly my best friend (unless he's working), and myself will probably be there.



My g/f & I were planning on going to Bristol TN that weekend for "Dukefest" a tribute they've been having to the "Dukes of Hazzard" for 4 years now that I've never heard of till last year. However, due to my brakes acting up and still recover from problems a couple of months ago, and still needing $$$ to cover & blow @ IRP we will be staying here. Couldn't think of any better way to spend a Saturday than a line of truck beds, drinks, and "diesel nut" friends watch'n a pull! Oo. Oo. Oo. :-laf

Depends..... hadn't really thought about it. If my buddy can get me those stock 181DV's so I don't blow my stocker into orbit then I will try and talk to G/F into it. She's not to crazy about me hooking the daily driven truck. Although she already knows I'm going to hook @ my KYDTR event in September.

Meet me at 3389 John Bragg Hwy (70S), the future location of Hollis Creek Antiques. It's 2 miles West of Woodbury, on the right couple miles after you pass Hwy 64/caution light. It's a big steel building with four bay doors and mini-storage out back.



Then we'll parade up to the pull. Meet at 5 or so.



Otherwise, find the pull on Hwy 53, 6 miles South of Woodbury. Cain't miss it, signs are everywhere and the pull is within sight of the highway--to the right.

Went to TSC to get a clevis for this weekend Saturday... ...

Bought a 3. 5" inside width clevis for $20... ... .

Then I talked to Wade and figured out I was supposed to buy the twisted clevis not the up & down one. #ad

We pull on the up and down one... . it don't really matter. Side to side would be better if it was fixed, meaning it would put more down pressure, but it if is loose(hanging) it ain't gonna matter which way it's flipped. Put you some big washers or spacers on it so it stays sticking straight out if you use the up and down one.



You got some awful big tires to be turning. You got enough hp? 35's with no HP = bouncy bouncy breaky breaky!



Nick can school you on pulling with 35's. He has the scars to prove it :{
