mopar /6 mods.?'s

i finally got my '85 225/6 mopar running, does anyone have or had one of these?



i want to mod. it a little :-laf , any suggestions? over at jcwhitney they offer a offenhauser 4bbl intake & 4bbl edelbrock carb. for the slants, anyone have experience with a modded slanter? i was thinking maybe also a hotter cam, six-into-one header, distributor, etc. how about clutch/transmission mods. ? ( couldn't mod. my old ctd :{ , but I WILL mod. this)

The Offy intake is a good piece. I wouldn't use that carb. It is to big for the cubic inches your running. Go with a 450 CFM Holley. It is better sized for that engine. Throttle response will be a lot better. To figure carb size. Multiply engine cubic inch X usable RPM then devide by 3456. 225X5500= 1237500 devided by 3456 = 358 CFM.
