While the Value line is sold by Dodge, they are not the OE pads that came on your truck...

I priced both, the OEs were right around $250 for both sets.

I've used the value line before and can tell you first had they suck. Currently I'm running Hawk LTS pads and would recommend sticking with the OE pad.

The Value Line is a good pad for the money, but not on the same par as the OEM pad. If your selling it put in the value line, if not spend the money for a premium pad like the OEM.

All dealers have buy at the same cost from Chrysler/Dodge and have the same suggested price but many dealers will discount their parts.

The best I have found is MOPAR4LESS which is actually Advantage Chrysler/Dodge in Farmington, NM. They have an internet parts department that offers excellent prices. I have always purchased from a woman who uses the name "K". She knows her job and always follows up. They are a good company to deal with. You avoid state sales tax with an internet/telephone buy from them and if you order by phone or internet and walk in to pick up the part you still avoid sales tax. MOPAR4LESS has a website.

Some dealers will discount to TDR members, some sell at list and some will bump a bit over list.

These dealers could end up with a lot more business if they would discount some. I know Moss Dodge in riverside gave me 10% off card for parts it's just too far for me to drive. Bob4X4 shed some light on the mentality of the parts manager.
