Does anyone know what Larry Miller Dodge in Phoenix is selling as the 'Mopar Diesel Performance Injection System' for the 600???

BTW, El Perro Grande now has a big brother, a spanking new '04. 5 3500 DRW Laramie, yee haw, my driveway runeth over :D

ok, I just talked to the parts dept:

$1395-installed

75hp --- 150ft-lb torq, and they are just replacing the tips

hmm..... well there you have it

ps. - he said absolutely no warranty issues, and they are not mopar

TommeyGun,

you saying this is a Mopar offering or a dealership offering?? It won't effect warrantee??? Wonder if they would change thier tune if the auto transmission went south? Is this only for the 600 or is the 555's in the same park (I am taking for granted the injectors are different between the 555 vs 600).

thanks

Dave

this is a dealership offering, they are going to warranty it, and I bet never tell dodge that they installed these injectors for the customers before delivery

he said they are for common rail dodge diesel, he did not specify which year

Tomeygun,

What exactly is the deal with before delevery?

Not to steal tomeygun's thunder, but one implication is that if the dealer makes the modification before delivery, DaimlerChrysler can't come back and say I've modified the vehicle - I have made no modifications to the vehicle since I took title to it from an authorized Dodge dealer as a new vehicle. Therefore, I could argue that any "beef" DC might have regarding warranty coverage and/or who is paying for repairs is with the selling dealer. The lawyers could have a field day with this one if a dealer-modified truck shot craps in the middle of nowhere and the truck was dragged to another dealer to repair under warranty! ;) :D

So this is what one would say if he ended up at a different dealer while on the road. ;)

Tomey - I need to take a picture of their stickered and signed truck in front of the dealership, it fully implies MOPAR, including the Lift Kits, which are Superlift. They will and offered to install on my owned truck, but speaking to a salesman answers no questions, the salesman said it was MOPAR too! He also said it was a box, not injectors.

EEngel, the new truck has to earn its name, El Perro Grande, The Big Dog, earned its living and is at 142K hard miles, the new truck has all the toys, is Polar White, and should be much, much easier to load and keep clean.
