I had a Mopar hitch installed on my 1999 Ram at the dealer when I bought it new. It is starting to crack and I want to see if it is on the accessory recall list. However, I cannot figure out if the part number is on the visible sticker on the hitch or if it is stamped some place that I am unaware of. Thanks to anyone that can help me with this.

My hitch came with my '99, here is what maybe the part number which is on the label - 52058119AD. I received a recall notice in either '99 or '00 about the hitch and they added brackets to it. Fortunately mine hadn't cracked.

Hope this helps.

My hitch is not a factory install, so my recall is not linked to my truck. The dealer did not supply me with any paperwork when I picked it up, as I had it put on as part of the purchase price. The http://dodgeram.info/tsb/recalls/872.htm site tells what part numbers are affected, but not how you can tell what part number your hitch is. I would asssume that the numbers are stamped on the hitch someplace, but I cannot find anything.
