Mopar lube filter at Wal-Mart? $9.99?

I was at wally world last night with the wife and kids. I wandered off to the automotive section to pick up some cheap wheel grease and noticed that there was a small section of MOPAR branded filters. There was also a small booklet with part numbers. I looked up the diesel filter, and picked it up off the shelf. It appears to weigh about as much as the fleetguards that I've always used, it felt like my fleetguards, and looked an awful lot like it.



I seem to remember someone saying some time ago that fleetguard MAKES the mopar filter for our application. Anyone confirm that? Buying filters locally at wal-mart is cheaper AND a LOT closer than driving to cummins or paying shipping from Geno's.

I would guess the wal-mart mopar filters are the standard filters which you can get cheaper at cummins or genos.

The stratapores are only a couple of bucks more and many times better.
