I want to get a floor mat for the rear of my Quad Cab 2000. Geno's has Husky and Mopar mats. I want something that traps the dirt so I can dump it every week or so. Husky sounds like what I want.

Does anyone have either one and have an opinion to share.

Thanks,
Bobby

You might check out the posts on the Fox Weatherboots. I love mine! They're expensive but worth it.

Perhaps the Husky's have longer nubs then the ones I bought about 18 months ago. Mine have nubs but need that plastic antiskid material underneath to keep them in place. They do a good job on collecting crud.

There are two different styles from Husky: floor liners and floor mats. The liners have the raised edge, but not much in middle. The mats have deep grooves that collect dirt and water. I have the Husky mats, and I really like them. I am a little disappointed with the passenger side though, as I feel it is a shade on the small side. If you go with Husky, be sure to specify liners or mats, as they are quite different.

I have the huskie liners up font but did not get the rear cuz I did not know if they will fit with the factory under seat storage bin.
Any one know ?????

Was picking up some parts at Dodge and asked if they had the "slush mat/s" for the rear, they did. $76 and it's the full width of the back seat and fits like a glove. Nice and heavy, deep groves to collect the goo. Great Idea! Bought it.

I have the Husky liners front and rear(quad cab) and I am very happy with them. If I had to do it again I think the gray would be a better color to hide the dirt, especially in winter with the road salt, the black shows all.

Without a doubt Husky mats front and rear they work very well...

I also have husky liners and love them. They will keep your carpet looking new for years.
The Black color liners are very hard to keep clean. FYI

The Husky mats are good, the Mopar are better. The Mopars have deep ribs so the water/gunk is under the surface your feet are touching; whereas the Husky's are flat with ridges around the outside (which leaves your feet in the puddle). The Mopars are also very heavy so they don't slide around like the Husky's.

JMO, but I had Husky's, now they're laying on the garage floor, and I'm using my Mopars (3 years).

Unless the design has changed since then...

The Mopar mats have a Rams head logo and they look like they belong in the truck. Even a little peg to 'lock' the drivers side mat in position on the carpet.

I suspect the Mopars are a-lot more expensive then the Husky's; unless they aren't the ones I have from 3 yrs ago.

OOOPS, for the rear,,,, dunno. The above is a comparison for the front.

You can see a mopar mat portion in my interior shot:

I think the Mopars are available for the rear but I don't have any experience with them, but ribbed is better #ad

The Husky liner will fit in the rear with the factory storage bin. Remove the bin. Put in the liner. Reinstalling the bin takes a little work. One has to push down hard on the bin to get the bolts back in, but it can be done.

I have the ribbed Mopar slush mats (front and rear) as shown in the pic Mark posted. These mats can be purchased in the color coordinated interior colors (in my case Agate) which look and serve very well. A little spendy... but worth it. He!! the truck was over 30k... it's just a drop in the bucket. BTW, the rear mat is a single, stretching across the entire rear floor area.

The Mopars are the best, without a doubt. I looked into the Husky liners, but they were too stiff and plastic-like. I like the Mopar ones because they are 100% rubber, and contour to any surface. Well worth the extra cash. #ad

Hey Mark,

You need to mount a few more things in there, you can still see part of the dash. #ad

Oops, too late. What silencer ring? (More fun than my 98 SST)

I've got the Fox Weatherboots also. I like them better than the Huskys because the water runs out the door. Holding the water in so it can slosh onto the carpet when you're out playing really sucks.

Just my opinion

you could just hold off for about 15-20 years and then the rust-holes will allow direct drainage onto the road #ad

I personally like the Walmart cheapies that have the Tazmanian Devil emblazoned onto them

Husky Liners both front and back and bridge piece on front hump. Great for trapping mud/water as I hunt. Lift front out and dump H2O out. Rinse mud off. Not much movement as have nubs to hold in place. Good product at right price...
