Mopar Running Boards

Anyone using one of the following Mopar molded running boards?



82206806 Black (DX8), may be used w/ Accent Kits

82206810 Graphite Metallic (ZDR), may be used w/ Accent Kits

82206814 Atlantic Blue (ZBJ), may be used w/ Accent Kits

82206820 Flame Red (PR4), may be used w/ Accent Kits

82206949 Bright White (PW7), may be used w/ Accent Kits

82206952 Bright Silver Metallic (WSB), may be used w/ Accent Kits



How is the fit, sturdiness and finish? Are these the same boards used on assembly line trucks? Who makes these running boards for DC? Anyone with pictures? Thanks for your help.

I have the 82206952 Bright Silver Metallic on my truck and am very pleased with them. I will post this picture, there may be a couple of others in my Readers Rigs.

OEM running board's

The Wife and I installed ours in about 4 hrs.

Black 03, and a angle drill(tight fit),and 2 margarita's! on a scale of 1 to 10 about a 4 or 5 to install them. GWD

i have the dodge board i though they were a bit if a pain to install the instructions were not very good. the second side went much easier.

I ordered mine through the parts guy at the same time I ordered the truck. I got a little discount because I was buying a new truck.

Yes the instructions were very poor,just a bunch of confusing

pictures! I guess that is the P/C multi language of the US today

Not just D/C but any thing you buy,we just went trough the same

funny book instruction's that came with a plastic shed we bought at Costco GWD

I have the 82206954 boards on mine, which are the same boards as above, but primed, not painted. I'm real happy with them. They have passed the 'in-law test' - my in-laws are big enough that the truck noticably moves when they get in. (!)



I also got a set of the Mopar front mud flaps, which are not meant to work with these boards, but will if some time is spent to carve them to fit the profile of the boards. I found this addition helped keep the boards clean in the winter.



I found the directions were pretty good - the 'pictures' were peel and stick labels that gave all of the proper drill points. A right angle drill is a must have however.



I ordered the boards and a bed mat when I ordered the truck, and like Dean, got a decent break. The boxes were already very nicely placed in the bed when I took delivery.

How far do they stick out from the truck? Enough to protect it from the door bangers? Even with the wheel, center caps? TIA

Anyone running the dodge nerf that is oval chrome pipe with dodge logo on steps and black end caps?

Thames, yes I have the Dodge nerf bars. Put them on last weekend. Prefer them over boards since they add a bit of chrome to the side of the black beast.

I looked at some installed while at the dealer geting my fuel guzzler checked out. I think the nerf's look good too. Are they hard to install? While I was there I picked up some dodge molded mud flaps to keep the white sides a little cleaner

The nerfs are an easy install. About 30 mins. and a 9/16 wrench. One tip-- the #@$* instructions are just diagrams, no writing, sooo the support brackets that say "left front, left rear, etc" go on the driver's side and the "right front, etc. " are for the passenger side. Got mine from e-bay for more that $200 off retail including shipping. Very happy with them. Stout and look good too.
