Looks like some of the other aftermarket pans. I don't see know reason why it would not work but mopar probably has a good price on it.

Why not just use your stock pan and install a B & M drain plug on it? You can also use a temp probe with it. Geno's has them for 10. 00. Part no. BM-80250. BTW, I had my trans temp probe in the pan (using the B & M drain plug) but after reading several posts I moved it to a port on the line from the trans to the cooler. I purchased a line with port from MassDiesel Performance. A bit pricey but much faster response and much more accurate indication of the actual fluid temp in the transmission.

For those that have added the B&M plug, what is the best location in the pan? Is is the same as in Second Generation Trucks? The truck in question is a '03 4x4 with the 4speed auto trans.

the mopar pan looks similar to other aftermarket ones, but much cheaper. I was planning on buying an aftermarket pan for the drain plug and temp probe mount, I think I will get the mopar one instead. Thanks for showing that site lniemeyer2

mopar pan

be careful when buying the mopar pan. it is a good pan , but pay attention to the model years it fits. i got one for my previos truck when trying to install it the side of the pan hit the govener pressure sensori ended having to grind on the inside of the pan to make it fit. i got a pml pan from mark craig (great person to do buisness with , thanks mark for all the help :D ) for my 04. 5 ctd and it fits perfect. very well made pan and cheaper than the mopar one.
