So, for those of you who missed it, 2012 is Mopar's 75th year since Walter Chrysler started the Mopar brand! It was by holding a contest for a name for the new parts side of the Chrysler Corporation that the term Mopar (short for MOtor PARts) came to be.

Thanks Robert We all know about Mopar Performance and some will even remember Direct Connection but what about Hustle Stuff ? Shad

Yup, I remember them! Great catalogs with all sorts of cool things.

Better question is do you still have your old HS catalogs? I do. :D

I still have the "Hustle Stuff" decal on the side window of my 1970 GTX that I purchased new. Also have the catalog, and jacket too. It is a little hard to see, but it is in the corner of the rear side window.

Nice car!! Fantastic!! :)

Almost bought a 70 beeper a few years ago. Turned out there was a bit more to it when I started reading the block casting numbers and it was out of a truck... :(

Thank you sir. It looks much better with the original wheels and tires on it. However the radial tires sure drive and handle much better then the Goodyear Polyglass GT's... .

Yes as a matter of fact I do. I worked for a Plymouth dealer back in the late 70s and when they moved to a new building I kept some of the "junk" they were throwing out. :-laf Shad

I am fond of old mopars in either wheel trip. :) it is hard to beat the newer tires though!

I was in the 1970 Plymouth Trouble Shooting contest my senior year in high school. We finished 13th out of 100. Got our picture (My buddies side profile and my BUTT) on the cover of Hot Rod magazine.
