Dave a bunch of us practiced for Bradenton last Wed at Moroso in West Palm Beach. Times were all from 12. 9 to 14. 49 (me). Then they told me about a lockup switch for my transmission and showed me how to disengage the parking brake. :--) :rolleyes: We will see you next sat in Bradenton.

I had planned on getting a bit of practice time myself this weekend but I just flat ran out of time. We are really looking forward to this event.



How many are coming up with you? Also, nail me down this weekend and lets talk about Moroso.

I believe about 7 trucks coming from this area. Wayne turned upper 12's along with another one of his friends up from Miami. I ran 5 passes and was pretty consistant. Now I have lockup switch for transmission and got my p-max3 upgraded to the comp version. Should see high 13's. I have an in at Moroso-I built the new buildings (racing school and admin building) there. :D
 
Make sure you guys running 13. 99 and faster have drive shaft loops, helmet and all the other necessary goodies. Don't want to have anyone disqualified! Race safe and have fun!
 
I just went to my local track this past weekend. As i went thru tech inspection I asked about the driveshaft loop,they told me i didnt need it until 11'a where i needed the cage as well. The tech inspector didnt believe my truck would even get in the 15's :D .

10's well, it'll be a while before I build a dedicated drag truck.

Mark, I never got to run,I snapped my output shaft,that time is a G-tech time. I know from using it on our other fast cars that its close it could be off by 2-3 tenths,depending on conditions. Id be happy with a 13. 30 or better run.
 
Actually John the NHRA rules are 13. 99 or faster with slicks or 13. 00 or faster for the street tire vehicles.

The DHRA rules are 13. 99 or faster.
 
Thanks Eric,Im going to run here a few times, Im not to happy about putting a loop on my truck,to run at one track:( . My buddy has run 11. 76at 126 with his Monte SS at this track and no one said a word about the loop(which he dint have). In fact he didnt have a cage,so that last run (with NOS)he quietly drove home without going around again,the ticket guy told him he better leave before they ban him. Prior to that run with the squeeze he has been runngin o nthe motor to mid 12;s at 112 ish with no loop.
