just my personal opinion of course, but I like the Garnet Red better. The deep molten red is the same as on 03 Caravan. Its slightly more purple and just doesn't have that mighty cummins character to it. more of a soccer mom character.

Bet those soccer moms love the Quad Cab;) . I think women pick out the colors more than men do. I am lucky because my wife wants nothing to do with ordering or driving my trucks. I extend her the same courtesy when she buys a car (although I do get to drive hers).

One important thing the first post left out:

A moment of silence please...

The iron V10 is dead.

2500/3500 will be available only with Hemi or Cummins power.

The only things that I would care about would be the tow/haul mode and rear seat head rests. I wonder if you will be able to add the tow/haul mode switch to an '03 with the 48re? where would the switch be located the OD off button is already on the end of the shifter, have to wait and see I guess. I'm sure the headrests will not be able to be added to an '03 though, the seat is most likely different.

Well I hope I still get the aluminum wheels with my 2004 Laramie that I ordered 3 weeks ago. It is printed on the build sheet that it will, so I hope DC doesn't change that on me.

Dealer info I saw, take from their 04 product info book, was that the cast aluminum wheels, an option for the SLT, is standard on the Laramie. I think you're fine.
