I have read many posts of people running 35" tall (315/75-16) tires with just a leveling kit. From what I can tell is that depending if they have stock alloy wheels the tires rub the control arms and if they use aftermarket wheels the tires rub on the rear fender/liner. I assume these aftermarket wheels have about 4 - 4. 5" of backspacing where the stock alloys (2002 or there abouts) have 6. 25" backspacing.

I was wondering if any one tried fitting 35" tires using the just DT Profab 1/2" longer control arms with no lift and aftermarket wheels (4. 5" backspace 8" wide). It seems as if it might just clear.

Thanks for any input.

Hummers

I have the hummer wheels 35" tires

No rubbing what so ever.

You might notice I have lifted my truck.

I assure you I can stuff the tires completely into the wheel wells all the way to the bump stops with no rubbing.

I do have the longer DT arms and a DT track bar.
