Foot in Mouth Disease

Ya ever have this happen. Ya pass some one then they speed up and stay on your tale. I held the speed at around 75 for quite some time. Well that happen at around midnight coming home from work. Finally I pull over then he slows way down. I let him go way ahead of me. Then I kick it up to cruising speed at 60. Again about 20 minutes later I'm on his tale again. Then I pass again and held it at 80 for awhile. Here we go again. The hemoroid is back on my tale again. I'm geussing he was chicken to go over the speed limit on his own.

That happens to me quite often on my drive home from work. This is my guess as to his reasoning: He wants you to drive fast out in front of him, so that YOU can get the speeding ticket if there's a cop ahead. If you let him get in front of you, he doesn't have the (guts) to "blaze the trail" by being the speeder at the front of the pack.
It's just a guess, but that's the feeling I get when I pass someone and they speed up and stay right on my tail. When I move over, they won't pass, they'll slow down. One of these days I'm going to suddenly pull over and hit the brakes down to exactly 60, as if I suddenly saw a state trooper. Then I'll see what they do.

The guys on my tailgate don't bother me as much as the ones that have to come up on the right or left and stay right at the side of my box. I will frequently pass someone and pull in just to have them come along side me by the box, so theyre hard to see, and stay there.

My second least favorite are the people who have to line up across two or there lanes of traffic and keep pace about 5 mph below the speed limit.

Need that 105mm roof mounted recoilless howitzer option.

My family goes to Lake Powell about every three years for a houseboat retreat. Last year we took off at night with boat trailer and enough food and stuff in the Ox to feed and cloth an Army. He was following me in his little Toyota. We got up into the hills and started to see some deer. And I had to slow down a little. He gets right up on my a$$. I pulled over and asked him"Is there any reason why you are riding my a$$?"He says,"So no deer can get between us". I replied"Yea that way you can run into my a$$". Well,he backed off. I don't know about some peoples logic. Sometimes people think in strange ways. Look at all the Republicans on this site.

Keep the deer out between us? Is that in the drivers manual???????

BTW,
We Republicans in Pennsylvania AIM for deer, thinning the herd and all that ya know. Just large rats, sort of like the Demorats.

When in New Mexico, I brake for Elk though!

Yeah, Republicans #ad
! Whatever.

I hate it when people pass you, then you have to slow down because once they have gotten in front of you, they don't want to drive that fast anymore! Or the ones that speed up, slow down, speed up, slow down! That pisses me off - I usually pass them and then won't let them pass me again. #ad

We tow at 70 MPH. Almost every time we come north through Merced there is this one 18 wheeler that is running about 65. We pull around to pass and he runs me up to 85. P****s me off Big time!! #ad

I especially like the ones on a two lane road
that speed up when you pass them so's you can't get back in #ad

Soon as there's a line of opposing traffic coming, I hafta give my brakes a REAL hard check #ad

That alone is reason enough to BOMB away.

I will tell yall about a friend of mine. It will explain at least some of the jokers. This guy just doesnt care how fast he is going he just goes down the road. If someone is in front of him he follows at his own comfort distance and it doesnt matter how fast it is. It can be a 3 lane hiwy and we will be going 50 mph behind some Doofus and do it for miles and I will say why are we going so slow and he will say, wha, oh, ok and go around and then follow the next guy at whatever speed he is going, it just doesnt matter to him. I think there are a lot of people like that out there.

Try this one... drive along minding your own business in the slow lane. Up comes some guy who is doing 5 to 10 mph faster. No problem, until he pulls out to pass, cuts right back in front of ya so you have to put your brakes on because his exit is 500 yards ahead. If he waited less than one minute he wouldn't have caused any problem to the whole line of traffic. Go figure...

Wish sometimes I had a cattle guard on the front of my truck to help these sort of drivers exit.

Coming back from Texas Motorspeedway yesterday I had the cruise set on 85. By the time i had gotten to the OK border I had 4 people doing this. Got into some hills and got slowed down to around 65. It was 3 lanes so I nailed it, around a couple of semis and slow obstacles I let off at about 100, about a mile later there were my trailers again lol. I tried to lose them a few times and no luck. These people were commited lol.
