When I added a 5" tip to my 4" system it was absolutely my loudest set up I have had. Mine pointed out the the passenger side. It sounded the best when I would travel through the towns on my way to work and it would echo between the buildings, being that the tip was projecting the sound outward rather than behind. My preference would be out the side. I haven't made any clips of a drive by or launch but that is a thought. I'll have to find a place to do that.
Let me know what you end up doing and your thoughts. If you do add the 5" tip to the side, you have do me a favor. Get in between some buildings and while your rolling along at say 15 mph, hammer and let it roll up through the RPM's and then let me know what you think of the sound. With a 4" system and 5" tip, there a sweet spot in there that will surely get you attention.
Talk to you later,
Bob
