Sway bar rebuild kit

Drivers side rear blinker not working

As I put more miles on the truck I find some more things I want to fix. Go figure.

1. I have a rattle/buzzing that only comes in at 1900-2100 rpms. Below or above it is gone. It is coming from under the drivers side dash somewhere. I can not change it at all by pushing pulling tapping etc.

Anyone else have this buzz?

2. My check gauges idiot light comes on for a instant. Then waits a half hour/45 min and does it again. Everything is fine on the gauges. Will have to wait for this one to get worse I am sure, unless someone else found the problem before.

As always many thanks in advance.

My 03 has a similar vibration buzz around 1700-1900 rpm, it's coming from the driver's side A-pillar on mine, figured it may be the clearance light wiring harness... ?

Sounds more of a metallic noise. I don't thing the harness would make that noise?

I have the same buzzing problem. In 1st gear at about 1500 rpm I get this rattle. Not sure where its coming from. Sounds like under the hood somewhere but it only happens in 1st or sometimes 2nd gear.

The check engine light is a quirk of the 03s. As far as I know there has never been a cause or a fix, it just happens. It never went any further on my 03. At least your truck is like the rest of ours. As for the buzz there was a fix for that if I remember correctly. The noise came from the power steering hoses. Again going from my memory they installed dampers on the hoses to absorb the buzz. There were a lot of threads on here about both these but I don't know how long they keeps these on this site but if you can find them you will have a lot of reading.

http://rokktech.com/_mgxroot/page_10432.html About '05, I started getting this "aftershock" or echo when I hit a bump. No dealership could find it, and they just looked at me like maybe my bread wasn't done. One little jr high schooler serving as a shop foreman (that's what he looked like) just about made me lose it. About 2 years later, when installing gauges and shocks at my local fix-it-all shop, the (real) mechanic found the problem: The intercooler was almost touching the frame, and every time I hit a bump the intercooler would tap the frame, and (only) I could feel it back through the steering wheel and seat. With the new Bilsteins and the "hit' fixed, I felt I had a brand new truck. A mature 19 yr old and I left the next week for a little adventure: We picked up some used Cessna airplane parts at LeTourneau college, and a Woodmizer sawmill in Sheridan, CA, and drove to Palmer, Alaska. We both agreed that we could not even imagine a vehicle doing a better job. This Rokktech kit is one of the things I had tried while looking for the gremlin. I do believe that it helps dampen little off-the-wall vibrations. Maybe this would help, if it is still available. Mark
