More Nav Radio

I found a leftover old '05 600 CTD, Quad Laramie J, NV5600, but it has some stupid options and lack thereof. It has the GPS Nav radio, does that mean that it comes with the Infinity speakers, I couldn't tell?? Also, this truck doesn't have the Audio Controls on the wheel, which really is dissapointing. So I went to Dodge's website and built an '05 and I didn't see the Audio Controls option, does that mean that they are not compatable with this Radio Unit?? You would think the top $$$ radio would come with that necessary option. Also, this truck has leather, but not heated seats Guess thats another thing to get from Genos. Thanks for the help gang.

The steering wheels controls do work with the RB1 nav radio. Kind of wierd that it wouldn't have been ordered with them, huh.

Thanks Karl, this is yet another example of boneheaded ordering guys who should get a good kick in the butt and a "What were you thinking??"



You'd think that if you are going to add $1200 to the sticker, you'd add in $75 for the audio controls and $160 for the seat heaters. I've researched what is needed to do the conversion, and it was basically a new steering wheel at like $160 and a wiring pigtail for $220. Hell of a lot cheaper from the factory



Does anyone know if the Nav radio triggers the 7 speaker Infinity setup from the factory?? Thanks alot, it looks like this is the truck that I'm getting, NV5600 and all

No, nav does not mean infinity....

You can order the Nav unit without the infinity. Also sometimes what happens is a customer buys a truck and says I do not want this radio, i want x radio so they will swap it with another truck then upcharge the other truck with the nav... Believe me I have seen some strange combinations that the factory sends... .
