I have had the Edge EZ on my 305/555 for about a year and a half now, and it's getting old :D What is the best way to gain more power? What is the best on the market right now? Any and all help is appreciated ;)

TST, Bully dog downloader, edge juice etc.

That's what I was wondering... . What is the best to stack with the EZ? I think I know what is available... Is the Juice out for the 305/555 trucks?

Thanks again :)

John

I'm starting to think that box opinions are going to be as heated as "the best" transmission opinions and "best" oil debates that seem to constantly come up. :-{}

I think that w/ you having a 6 speed and wanting to stack you should seriously look at the TST. For the 305's it seems like the way to go.

Best stack w/EZ

Now that's a loaded question. I think it's better to identify which stacks are the primary ones with the EZ. Obviously the Juice/Attitude stack well with the EZ. Many report a very good stack also with the BDDL and the TST. Pick your poison. I think the reason that the EZ stacks well with the above big 3 is that it provides the missing element,... fueling. It makes any of them more complete with duaration, timing and fueling. I don't believe you'll go wrong with any of those. :D

I say wait for the Juice and then make an informed decision...

Because I know that Attitude controler is a neat thing... But the tst does get the job done

based on my experience, upgrade the turbo first.

there are multiple choices. i am happy with mine.

alc/water injection will probably be next for me.

What turbos are available and how much "ballpark" are we talking?

John

i bought the BD super-b. there is also a B1-04.

if you do some searching on these phrases, you should find lots of information.

i am sure that if you are interested in pricing, you can check the TDR for vendors of these systems and ask them to PM you.

i bought mine from (kyle4) extreme diesel performance who has a banner ad here.

he can give you pricing.

ballpark between 1k & 2k. depends on what you get

I've had my EZ stacked with my Juice/Attitude for quite some time now. They seem to work well with each other... now my transmission on the other hand that's a different story.

I have the 305/555 stacked with the EZ and TST. Stacking keeps the EGT's a little cooler than either box alone. Look into turbo and clutch upgrades. You will *need* a clutch upgrade to go higher than the EZ.

ok well ive tried the ez first then went to the bullydog downloader and then to the banks setup and now i just installed the tst. the edge and tst would probably make the best combo because the tst doesnt raise rail pressure which the ez does. the downloader and banks and ez all raise rail pressure so i would be a little weary about stacking two boxes together that both raise rail pressure=good recipe for disaster! just my two cents.

Been running bully dog downloader on extreme, tst on 2,2, and 85 hp. fuel pressure box as a daily driver. tst turbo wastegate for the 04. 5 (limit boost to 30-35 psi), staight exhaust, and airaid. The computer seems to learn, or defuel. After I turn everything off for a week or so, then turn every thing back up seems to pull harder. Maybe just in my head though. With a stock auto I am very impressed with this combo, bet it'd feel helluva lot faster with a manual or aftermarket auto.

Chris,

Your right! Upgraded transmission feels like you just bolted on a easy 50-75HP. And that's no bull. Besides,... now you'd even be able to tow with that Cummins,. . imagine that. :D

The Best Upgrade you can do for Cummins/auto combo, Is the Trans First,If you are under 85HP Max(additional) probably be OK,If you go 100 plus Your future upgrade will need the Drive section to be inspected. The TC is the major concern for the 47/48re. If slips material may break off and find its way to the drive section and cause more damage, or glazing. Pm me for details or www.tcdieselperformance.com

TWEST is EXACTLY on board. Not close,... but right on. Save yourself a ton of money and follow those instructions he posted. :-laf
