I have a '95 2500 4x4 5 speed 190,000 miles. Autolite egt and boost gages a #11 tst plate. "S" ring removed, muffler and cat removed, K&N filter, aftermarket clutch.

The KDP got me in may of 2002.

I get about 34lbs of boost and if I work it hard about 975* in the exhaust. yes pre turbo (I dont tow anything, and the air is always cold here)

I'm going to play around with the star wheel this weekend but I want bigger injectors. Are 300 hp injectors the way to go? What about 370 hp injectors? Whats too big and whats slowing me down?

Welcome to the TDR.

Have you tried sliding the plate forward a bit,it may give you a bit more. A set of 370 injectors would wake it up too.

They do not make 350 injectors for the CTD. Diesel Dynamics (as well as others) make injectors for your truck. The 300 and 370 injectors are made by Bosch and used in Cummins higher displacement engines or for marine applications. Welcome to the endless cycle of gotta have a little more power. If you go with the 370's you are gonna need a heavier clutch. You can also go to a lower # plate to get more fuel. Then you will need a bigger turbo, 4" exhaust, etc, etc, etc. Have fun. :D
