How can I get higher RPM ? Is it goverend by the pump or can it be changed electronicly with a box? I would like 3800 to 4000. I'm using a DD UPM with comp mode. Thanks

Before you try to increase your RPM, check your power curves on your dyno graphs. I seriously doubt that you are still making power when the governor kicks in. Most engines peak, then drop off just (200 - 400 rpm) before the limiter. If your's drops off also, you would be doing more harm then good.

Nobody that I have heard of have been able to make anything to get more rpm's out of the 24 valve. The 24 valve pullers have been waiting for a while now and will probably be waiting some more. Dean

So whats the difference or the problem compared to the 12 valve. They will pull hard to 4000 rpm. Is it in the pump? Im not making major power yet but my buddy has a 12 valve and we are always trying to one up each other. He just sent his pump to get worked on. He said it is suposed to free rev to 4500 and pull full load at 4000. . I'll wait and see how his runs before I do anything. Thanks Bob
