Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) more smoke, stock truck

granted, I have been hot-rodding long enough in general, and I've been messing with these trucks to know how to drive them to make them live. if I had held the pedal to the floor constantly or put a lock-up switch on it, I'm sure I could have caused some damage, but I'm not an old grandma behind the wheel by any means!!!



but I figured since he's got a 94, he'd probably be alright.



BUT, I did say start saving for a transmission (mainly because once he gets a little taste of power, he'll be hooked, and that'll be the weakest link in his combo)

Yeah I guess hooked is a good word for it:-laf That's the great thing about this being a spare work truck. If I want to "throw down" to the diesel gods, I can hop in my '02 which god knows I have put enough money into and boy is it fun. Still trying to talk myself out of a cam, new turbo, studs, and m-6's. I will try moving the plate forward and see if I can black out this whole town just a joke there. I can see all sides of this and think that most of us on this site know diesels rule and there is a time and a place to show it If I could only figure out how to make one hell of a propane pulling truck, only then will it not smoke from all the fuel and power. Good one boodammer. Especially the K30 crewcab got one and might just fill her up and drive it for a while. It's throttle body and straight three speed but then again averaging price and whatever it beats my diesel.

Anyone got a link to show how to grind the plate to a #10? I'll try some off the other adjustments as well to get a little more power out of it
