i don't know squat about tires except that w/my Z71 i was told that if i put on 33"s or larger i would have to reangle the pumpkin so the angle of the drive shaft would match the trans output and not wear out the u joints. not true w/my 03 2500?? also -what size is on there now? tire size #"s are confusing as hell. i know that the little tires on there now make it look funny. even my WIFE laughs at em. damn! for general driving and occassionally towing the boat can someone reccommend a good tire size? also used for occassional 4 wheeling.

THANKS

Whoever told you that about your Z71 was full of it. Tires have no effect on drive shaft angles, not to mention the z71 was IFS.

Anyway. If your not gonna level it out with any sort of front end lift, I would say a nice 33x12. 50 (or 305 (same size)) will do you nicely. You can fit a 35x12. 50 (315/70/17) without any lift, but personally I think the fenderwells look too stuffed without at least a 2" lift.
