My problem began when I noticed my RPM would fluctuate 2-3 hundred and it appeared to lose power then run smooth again. Local stealer checked fuel pressure and all checked good. Next day same problem and this time right in front of dealer. The dealer service technician attached a computer and noticed torque converter locking and unlocking with cruise on or off. So, they flashed the ECM and everything worked good for 10 days and now it is doing it again. What does anyone think?

Within the last 6 months, the stealer replaced Torque converter 3 times:confused: Pump replaced two times:confused: Valve body replace and added a plate under valve body. This seemed to fix several problems and lasted 6 months and here we go again:confused:

Any good suggestions?

Additional note: The dealer said they flashed the ECM and a service bulletin states the PCM should be flashed and programed. What are the odds the DEALER WAS WRONG and flashed the wrong item?????!!!!!!!!

I hate to hear about your frustrating situation. Unfortunately most dealers and techs do not get paid for diagnostics, and are not very good at it. So they become parts replacers. They figure if they throw enough parts at it perhaps they'll fix it eventually. In your case I wonder how many pumps it may take to fix,for example, a bad TPS or a MAP sensor. Has the dealer tech driven the truck with a pressure gauge and the dealer scanner on it to observe what is happening during the concern? Bad sensors, dirty or loose connections, bad alternator, and more could be causes. Does the problem occur in response to a PCM command? What reflash was done? Have heard where, for some reason, the reflash was not successful. I wish you luck on this journey. It may be time to seek another dealer. Hang in there.
