Thought this would make you happy. Wallmart built a big one like that in National City, CA. When it came time for final permits etc. the Mayor and City Council asked about the Union workers. Wally said no Union workers, the City (Nationl City) said no super store (no groceries, butcher shop etc) just a regular Wallmart. Public outcry from the local workforce told city they had enough minimum wage jobs in the area, no need for any more.

I am looking for that link to the "How Walmart is Ruining America... " book and came across this thread. Slowly, but surely, I am turning more people off from walmart. It may only be on the local level, but every bit helps!

I am SO thankful these greedy ******** have not come into my county, not even with a "non superstore".
