Police: Man Steals Truck From Police Station Parking Lot
BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Brunswick police arrested a man Thursday who allegedly stole a pickup truck from the police station parking lot, NewsChannel5 reported.
Police say that Jason Monroe, 43, stole the truck because he couldn't find a ride home after spending time behind bars for disorderly conduct.
Police say they caught up with Monroe at his home, where he was loading up the stolen truck and was planning to drive to California.
Monroe has been charged with grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. He is being held in the Medina County Jail, and could face up to 18 months in prison.
