You should have knocked their socks off! I just talked to them two days ago and the fastest diesel they have seen ran a 16. 35!

I had people swarming all over my truck. It really caught peoples attention when I outran a Rousch stage one Mustang. I'm doing Orlando next Wed and we are trying to line up a few other diesels to go. Life is very good. Ken

Dang Ken,Ya beat my best E. T. by about a half a sec. What size tires are you running?My 285's probably hurt me some. I'm thinking of getting a set of strip tires like Eric. Your set up pretty much the same as me,except I've got a reg. cab. Where exactly is this strip at?Eric,hows the D. H. R. A. thing going,do I need to join to run for the points deal?Let me know what I need to do... . Doug

Doug, Moroso is about 30 miles west of Jupiter Fl. As far as tires I think I'm running 235's. To lazy to go out and check, and I am only two wheel drive 3500. My transmission worked perfect, other than a blown shift and brake tap on my first run in fifth. I did not know I tapped my brake until I watched the video today. Also I did not build up RPM's, I just dropped the clutch and pounded the go pedal. I was doing burnouts before each run, my better burnouts led to better 60' and better E/T's. Ken

Doug, JetPilot is working hard on getting races put together for the Easterners. I know of five already, including the MIR races. We will have membership information available soon.

Thanks Eric. Kenny I think I've been to that track before. I've got kin in Ft. Pierce/Vero Beach. I think it was Moroso. They didn't have many Mopars period there when I went. Boy winter sucks,I can't wait til spring to start drag racing/pulling again and meeting up with my Cummins brethren ... I'm bored.

i live about 1/2 hr from there and used to go all the time. i'll be there for the all chevy show and the nmca fastest street car shootout and if you have never been to one of those, it's great! i was there when pat musi whacked the wall with his firebird. it was a 6 sec run and he hit the wall at 1000ft. the wall concrete wall did not survive but either did the firebird.

I will not be going to Moroso again during this visit to Florida. On Wed Myself and a few Furd guys are going to Orlando. You are more than welcome if your up for the drive. We are bringing a cooler of beer (for after the racing).

Kenny those new buildings that you see when you enter Moroso (admin and racing school) I built them. I watched a cummings turn a 13. 92 last year there. Guy had a six inch exhaust and put out some kinda smoke. It was a white 3500 but I could not find him after his run. I'll be running my 99 there in a couple of weeks after I get some auto trans parts I ordered. They have a Mopar weekend in the summer. It would be great to get enought Cummins there to have our own Class. I'm game.
