What are the most important peramitars to monitor that would require aftermarket gauges??

I have a stock 1999 2500 and have not done any performance mods, I just want to be able to monitor the numbers that might show me a problem ahead of time...

I hae been told I need a Fuel Pressure Gauge, EGT, and boost... .

yes or no??

Thanks

Also add transmission temp gauge if an auto trans. If you have a manual and tow heavy, it still wouldn't be a bad idea, but not as critical.

Most important gauge on a bone stock 99 24v would be a fuel pressure gauge, NOT the EGT. He will have a pretty hard time exceeding the temp limit, but the FP gauge will tell him that his lift pump has already died.
