My mother-in-law is a very nice woman. Thinks the world of me. We get along just fine.

:) :) :) :) :) :)

Mine is pretty good but I can only take her for so long and she starts to bug me, not in a nagging way or interfeering way just my personal pet peeves in her personality. She's real good to us though so I guess I shouldn't complain.

My MIL is a mean, spiteful, hateful, tw0-faced woman who will smile to your face, but stab you in the back at her first opportunity. This is not just toward me, but toward her only daughter. I have no desire to have anything to do with her.

I really want to ask her, "Are you're still breathing??"

I actually had 2 mother n laws... My wife is from a split family so I was blessed with 2... lol We lost my wifes mom back in May to cancer. So now I am down to 1.

Both ladies are the greatest. . Nancy(wifes mom) was there to help. She worked hard all her life and provided for her family. We thought she should have slowed down when the grand kids came along but . . it was not in her nature to slow down. Nancy was a neat lady and she will be truely missed. .

Now as for Irma(other mnl)... she also is a great lady. She is from Danish family. Hard working people! Irma is also someone that you can go to with a problem and she always has an ear to listen.

Like I said... I am blessed to have had these 2 ladies as MNL's

I get along with my MIL just fine thank you. She drives my wife (her daughter) crazy though.

I also still get along great with my former MIL, and not just because she's one of my kids' grandmothers.

Both women have huge hearts and would do anything for their family (or former family in my case) and I would return the favor anywhere, anytime.

My MIL sounds a lot like Waynes.

We sort of get along... . I guess only because we have to. She lives 15 minutes from us.

She is the complete opposite of what she wants you to think. Hypocrite is a good one word description.

I get along great with my MIL. We used to live on the same 2 acre plot and still got along great. She would do anything for us. She just recently returned from Arizona after caring for her dying father for almost 2 months. Too bad none of her 8 siblings bothered coming down to help. She's got a heart of gold.

Father in Law is the same way. Although, I don't think he like visiting my house because I don't have all the little projects he likes to do when he's at home. I think he does enjoy the visit though.

They are huge NASCAR fans and we've all gone to the April Talladega race together. Had a great time

I got along with mine just fine until she passed away 16 years ago at the age of 55. My mother is a whole other story that we shall save for another thread.

Mixed emotions... ... ... ... ... . your MIL driving off a cliff in your new CTD  :{ :) :{ :)

My MIL is OK but wouldnt want to make a steady diet of her

Kevin I think we can all understand why your mother in law has these reactions to you:D  cause you got something loose up there:eek:

My is great we call her Granny. One of her sons gave her that name years ago before she had any grandkids. She did do wrong years ago. I was asleep on the couch cause I had consumed a huge amount of beer and she set on my face and farted:eek:   That did wake me up and she was just:D :D :D
