Mothers Power Balls???

I see the Mothers Powerballs advertized in all the magazines, saw them at the local parts store for $20. Before I spend that much on a foam ball has anyone used these to polish their wheels? How do they hold up?

Amazing tool for polishing anything. I use it with an air drill, it makes the job faster.

Worth it in my opinion. Definitely used it more than once and still holding up well. Oh and did I already say it's worth it.

works well on diamond plate. An air drill is the way to go since they usually spin faster and they also get cold in your hand. (good on a hot day)

Don't waste your money on it. For the price it is not worth it. I don't know how it worked on D. plate because foam chunks came flying off by hitting the valve stem. Let alone rough edges of diamond plate

Saw the first couple posts earlier so I picked one of each size up this afternoon. Thanks for the input, sounds like I don't want to try and use them in Las Vegas. Think I'll try one tomorrow and if it doesn't work as advertized I'll return the other. Is there any special compounds that you found worked better?

I had been thinking about one to use on my diamond plate toolbox it's starting to really loose its shine and look kinda dull. I also see in the advertisment them using Mothers Power Metal polish looks like that would work good for the toolbox also.

I just used one on diamond plate running boards that looked like they were painted with silver paint (very ugly). They look almost like new now and the power ball is going strong. Just like any rotary buffer, you have to pay attention to the edges and direction of rotation or it will grab. Also, heavy pressure is not required with mothers... . just motion. The mothers metal magic polish is necessary also.
