Gooseneck trailer pullers, heck RVers too

I am looking real hard at buying a class A motorhome. (crazy with diesel prices as they are) Both of the coaches that I am looking at (Monoco, Diplomat and the Allegro Bus) both have the cummins 400. Any one that may have one or know about them, information would be appreciated. Does the 400 cummins have the poop to get that monster down the road OK. What kind of milage can I expect? Also if anyone has any advise or information on any other coaches, ideas or suggestions, IM open to learning much, much more. Have had 5th wheels for years, pulled by my trust dodge. Have 286K on my ole 92 and 56K on my 01.

cummins 400

cummins 400 is a work horse, we were in florida last month, destin state park, talking to camping neighter about his camper w/cummins 400. he has been in 32 states, with that work horse, his mileage on flat land was about 12mpg. mountains about 8mpg. not bad at all. my 2001 dodge on flat pulling 9,000# 14mpg at 65mph. i don"t remember his milage on the rig. he said never had a problem. good luck.
